At a [tag] Michelle Obama event, reporters from the Carnegie Melon Student Paper “observed one event coordinator say to another, ‘Get me more white people, we need more white people.’ To an Asian girl sitting in the back row, one coordinator said, ‘We’re moving you, sorry. It’s going to look so pretty, though.’
That pretty much sums up the needs of Obama Campaign as a whole.
Sen. Barack Obama’s Missouri co-chairman and pledged Obama superdelegate, said Obama will gain the support of 50 undecided Democratic superdelegates later this week, according to the Columbia Missourian.
This was first reported yesterday by Tom Brokaw.
This will bring the total to:
Obama – 265
Hillary – 243
and once that happens… GAME OVER MAN!
Booya!
“Rumor,” says Bill Burton, Obama spokesman. Others in the know say it’s just not true — the true number is much, much lower
Oh, and I didn’t just print some random thing off the net – Tom Brokaw & Rep. Lacy Clay said it… i’m not sure why they said this actually, thats just weird. ) :
“Speaking at Philadelphia’s National Constitution Center, the Democratic presidential candidate said he rejected racially charged comments made by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, but he tried to explain the root of those remarks.”
No CNN, he didn’t TRY to explain them, he DID explain them.
Also I like how every time there is a Hillary scandal on the CNN political blog they disable user comments.
“We researched every potential alternative process — from caucuses to county conventions to mail-in elections — but no plan could come anywhere close to being viable in Florida,” said state party chairwoman Karen Thurman in an e-mail sent to Florida Democrats late Monday afternoon.
I however have always maintained that people in Florida shouldn’t be allowed to vote.
He’s was just not pretending to be proud of our government. and I can understand that… at very few points in my life have I been proud in our government. This unique opportunity for real change that Obama represents is bringing out younger voters in mass because actuall altruistic political views are a new idea here in the states.
We’ve been acting like power hungry, greedy fascists. We HAVE been blatantly supporting Israel no matter what they do. Throughout his presidency, Reagan supported the apartheid government in South Africa and even labeled Nelson Mandela’s African National Congress a notorious terrorist organization. (completely true) The united states DID conduct radiation experiments: It all isn’t completely verifiable yet but the The Tuskegee Syphilis Study WAS so I don’t know why that would be hard for anyone to believe.
People in America like to think of our country as the worlds supportive big brother, but it just isn’t so.
“we still put more money in the military than in medicine; more money in hate than in humanitarian concerns.”
People are so outraged over these comments not because they are false, but because they are true. Now he rambles on a bit, I don’t know where that bit about the US making AIDS came from and I don’t believe for a second “the white man is putting a brother down” anymore – but most of his comments that I believe Obama (and any real patriotic liberals who bothers to read the news) wouldn’t secretly agree with. His comments however misguided came from a place of compassion, and comparing him to Hitler is just downright silly.
Today Obama talked about a lot of issues, starting of things by having some generals talk. He discussed ferraro and how he believes following race statistics on exit polls is just a distractions, and hasn’t yielded any positive results for the democtract party. After this last win there was a lot of talk about how he had just captured the black vote and how the majority of white people had cast their say in another direction. He pointed out his wins in blue collar states all over and that it doesn’t make any sense to point at one or two states and assume that is indicative of the state of things.
I set up this blog to talk about the issues related to the Obama campaign and to give people an opportunity to give feedback on the presidential race. If you have a story for me please E-mail it to me and I will review it promptly.
